I feel like I’m constantly reaching for this bag! If it were up to me, bell peppers would be a part of every meal — they’re so good in salads, scrambles, stews, pastas, stir-fries . . . the list goes on and on! These #frozen pieces are the most convenient solution I know of for adding flavor (and a splash of color) to dishes. They’re also very fairly priced at under $2. My only complaint is that it’s slightly misleading to call them ‘strips’: while there are some long pieces, it’s comprised more of what I’d term scraps — small, irregular odds and ends. In situations where looks or crispness really matter, I would recommend using a fresh, raw pepper; otherwise, for everyday cooking, it’s tough to beat this medley.
