A non-vegan friend once teased me, saying that eating vegan chocolate is like eating clay. I rolled my eyes, clutching my oat latte in defiance. But after trying this M&S Made Without Dairy Choc Bar, I have to admit… she may have been onto something. It’s not that it’s inedible. It just has a strange chalky texture, like someone sweetened modeling clay and called it dessert. The taste leans more toward budget candy aisle than anything close to indulgent. For a brand like M&S, I expected a bit more flair and finesse. This felt lazy. I’m vegan, not joyless. There’s no reason a dairy-free chocolate bar should taste this uninspired. Do better M&S.

Unassuming packaging but very clearly vegan-friendly 🙌 This looked like the budget option from their dairy-free range, and so it tasted 😅 But anything reviewable has to be tried at least once #forthedollar right? Plus it's one more for #teammylkchocolate 💪💪 #chocoholic
This chocolate bar is from the without dairy range and confusingly it’s not placed with the other vegan chocolate. It’s not as nice, quite plain and very little chocolate flavour. I would spend a bit more and buy from the vegan chocolate range. This product tastes a bit powdery, texture is poor and needs something to flavour it - sea salt? Caramel bits or maybe fruit and nuts . As much as I like chocolate I wouldn’t buy this again
Pretty basic, I was just so thankful to see it in Bristol Airport at like 4am when nothing else was open 😂
