Krispy Kreme UK introduced 3 new vegan doughnuts for #veganuary. This one had a
sweet apple filling with a crunchy crumble top. The dough was amazing - I forgot how good Krispy Kreme is! Very pleased with my treat ☺️ #doughnut

Fun fact: I have never had apple crumble, so I was hesitant to try this
but it was actually my favourite one of all 3!

So bearing in mind we got these at the end of the day I still
wasn’t overly impressed with the flavour of this one. The custard on the inside has a nice cinnamon flavour but it’s partnered with an apple filling which is basically apple sauce and I didn’t like that at all. It also left a funny aftertaste which was almost like banana 😖 #veganuary #veganuary2022
Krispy Kreme is a hit or miss for me.
For Veganuary, they have launched three new
doughnuts: Apple custard crumble, caramel choc and the fudge.
The new apple custard doughnut was definitely a hit because it wasn't too sweet or oily.
I am not sure if the texture of the doughnut is different because it is vegan but I felt that is was more bready compared to the regular ones which are softer.
The filling was not well filled but decent with real apples and custard.
Overall highly recommended and will be trying the other ones.

This was good - probably as nice as the fudge brownie one, but why so
expensive? I'd rather have Crosstown doughnuts for that sort of price. Annoys me that the non-vegan three pack is cheaper.
