The ice cream in this ice cream sammy is creamy and tasty, with tangy bits of key lime throughout. The cookie portion is what you’d expect from a standard ice cream sandwich; it does the job holding the ice cream and tastes okay but it wouldn’t hold up as a tasty snack on its own. The ice cream is the star of the show here. These are quite tasty and I think that if you’re a key lime fan you’ll enjoy them. I think that if I tried these before I had any ice cream sandwiches from Cool Haus I’d be more impressed….but those have spoiled me as both the ice cream and cookies are fabulous! These tangy little ice cream sandwiches are a refreshing alternative to the traditional ones that are sometimes overly sweet. Very creative!
