I was really surprise when I found out that this pastry was vegan, so I

buy it and it’s really delicious

Well I’m sort of reviewing the pastry used in a recipe I found online by

Vanessa Croessman for a Lemon Asparagus Tart.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly oiled tray.
Steam a bunch of asparagus and rinse and let cool.
Make lemon cashew nut butter sauce. I stirred the cashew nut butter with lemon juice, yeast flakes, oat milk and black pepper.
After pricking the pastry base all over with a fork, spread the sauce over the base then place the asparagus in rows, brush lightly with oil and cook for 20 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees.
Easy to prepare and with a salad it makes a complete meal. We’d eaten half of it when I thought I’d take a pic and let you know it’s well worth trying, something different.

Quite a staple in my kitchen I use this for any homemade quiches and the

result is always nice and flaky

This comes as a sheet of ready made puff-pastry. Makes the tasty lid for a

homemade filling like lentils/kale/mushroom, vegan cheese twists (just made them for the first time -delicious) and much more.
