Very expensive but very good. These baby ribs from Juicy Marbles are super expensive (my brother said they were maybe around 200 SEK when he bought them a couple of months back). I've had their expensive but oh so delicious filet before so I had high hopes. Wow they really had a meat-like texture that made it look and feel like meat. The flavour of the inside was very meat-like as well. The outside of the ribs were a bit spicy (not too spicy just a lil heat that I could feel in my mouth but could handle no problem) but that was 100% bcus of the marinade. So the choice of marinade definitely affect how it tastes. But all in all it was really meatlike in flavour and mainly in texture. I was impressed but my brother was even more impressed...so well these are recommended for vegans who like meat-like textures and flavours. We had it with some homemade airfryed fries, lettuce and homemade bbq sauce (kudos to my brother bcus it was a delicious bbq sauce) and it was a great meal. Also these baby ribs had "bones" in them. These bones are made with soy protein and edible. They are tasteless but I actually ate one of my "bones" mainly because I really liked the chewy texture. I dipped it in bbq sauce and ate it, enjoying the chewy texture. (I am really big on textures...and as a non-vegan I really enjoyed the "brosk", which i believe is "gristle"(?) In english, in a steak so I guess I do enjoy some rubbery chewy textures in my meat or meat substitute 😅)

I didn't think I'd like this because I wasn't into ribs when I ate meat, but wow am I glad I gave this product a chance. The bones are a fun gimmick, but unnecessary for me. I can't imagine eating this with your hands, so just go in with a fork! The "meat" comes off the "bone" so easily it's really easy to eat around. We marinated ours in Bachan's BBQ Sauce. It was perfect! I really loved the flavor of this vegan meat with the Japanese BBQ. I'm looking forward to trying other Bachan's flavors on these! #veganribs #veganmeat #bbq #seitan #protein #b12 #iron #veganpork #peaprotein #soy
