The Texture is amazing, remember a little bit the jackfruit. The taste is also not bad at all.
So if you want something else sometimes, having something fancy I do suggest it
the supermarket it looked super inviting so I decided to give it a try. The price is very high considering it is a plant-based product: over 14 CHF. I find them regularly at Migros. Nutritionally it’s a pretty good meal, it even has an A nutri-score. I also find the packaging very nice and well-designed. As you can tell from the picture of the cooked product, it looks a lot like an actual fillet and I have to say, even the taste is very much meat-like. I really like the texture of these plant-based steaks and I discovered they are great also if you break them down when cooking them. Since I first tried them I kept buying them because I truly enjoy their taste and it’s a super flavorful dish to prepare in little time. thought for £7.50 each we could have a try of these. The look, taste and texture is really impressive, it goes stringey a bit like pulled meat but the texture is still tough enough to seem like steak. A great taste too although we had ours with a mustard sauce as we were giving it to (carnist) guests but for us it would have stood up on its own #vegansteak #steak
