Every Hu flavour is delicious and this #vanilla crunch chocolate is no exception. The crispy bits remind me of a Crunch bar if you’ve ever had one of those. i like the crunchy quinoa in the chocolate, its not too sweet considering it's only 70% cacao. amazing ingredients sweetened with coconut sugar and made from cacao instead of cocoa. i was expecting a stronger vanilla taste but couldn't taste much which was disappointing. it's rather tasty but considering the price of this ($9 for 60g 😱😱) i probably won't buy it again:(
I love these for the significantly more generous amount of puffed quinoa. It’s well balanced with a hint of saltiness! It’s a good texture overall (salty chocolate is still at the top of the list hehe!) thanks to the puffed quinoa that’s still crunchy!
Andrew Garfield said this was his favourite flavour of this brand (in a GQ interview) and while it's pretty good, I've got to disagree with him that it's the best from the brand. It's certainly a very delicious bar of dark chocolate compared to other brands and it's on the slightly sweeter side, but the vanilla taste and crunchiness (which seemed to come from crunchy quinoa pieces I believe?) wasn't the most exciting/outstanding to me compared to HU's other dark chocolate flavours such as hazelnut. But still a good healthy and eco-friendly chocolate bar.
This was quite nice. I enjoyed the puffed quinoa; reminded me of a Crunch bar, but way better and without the cruelty! It had been a while since I tried this brand, so was pleased to see the inner wrapping is now compostable (albeit industrial); used to be plastic. I’d love to see this brand be fully plant based! #chocolate #glutenfree
