Love the plant based range of Gü - the crumbly soggy bottom with a rather creamy layer of caramel and then chocolate on top. I topped it off with some vegan whipped cream, and that was just spectacular! This is only available in the UK and I took it home with me in my hand luggage to the Netherlands. I bet it tastes even better when you eat it straight from the supermarket. Now I can't wait for this product to be on the shelves here to. Hurry up Gü ! We need your awesome vegan desserts!
Ohhh this is one of the better desserts I’ve purchased from Sainsbury’s. The zillionaire is a plant-based cheesecake with caramel and hints of coconut 🥥 My aunt had been gushing about Gü to me so when I saw this plant-based cheesecake I knew it was now or never. Best decision I’ve made today! The biscuit base is soft yet crunchy and the caramel isn’t overpowering. Pretty good. I like the layers, with the crumbly biscuit layer, gooey caramel & chocolate. The only negative was the slight coconut flavour. So many chocolate desserts have coconut products in (this has 30% coconut cream) which I'd prefer them not to.
i didn't really care for the crumbly bottom layer but the top layers were good. the choices were few for #vegandessert. a nice mix of #chocolate and #caramel for the #sweettooth it was a nice holiday dessert. i love the glass container but there no lid so hard to #reuse. maybe if you make candles.
