It's time to break out the cinnamon! A touch of cinnamon adds warming spices and the flavor of fall to any dish! I made pancakes with Betty Crocker Bisquick mix and chia seeds as an egg replacement. I also added some Kirkland chocolate chips. I added about a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mix, but I think I could add another 1/2 so the flavor comes through more next time. I also added a tiny bit of nutmeg. I love this non-pretentious brand of spices. I always buy their ground cinnamon which I use a lot during these autumn and winter months in just about everything form coffee to oats.
