Not the biggest fan of Kiev’s but needed a meal so yeah. They look a

bit weird but taste alright, kinda tastes like stuffing

This #kiev smelled really nice in the oven and was easy to cook but I

found the actual taste of the ‘meat’ quite artificial, almost like cardboard, and it didn’t look too appetising either. There was plenty of garlic in the middle and I like how it is fully #recyclable and clearly labelled vegan.

I’ve tried many vegan chicken kievs now and these just didn’t hit the mark compared

to others I’ve had. The chicken was nice in taste and texture however the problem I had with this was the funny aftertaste it had. I’m not sure wether it came from the breadcrumbs or the garlic butter but something was just off-putting. #veganisnotscary

I didn't really look at the ingredients of these, saw it was a Gro one

and knew it was safe. However, having started cooking it, I was greeted with a smell that I recognise and really dislike: Mushroom 🤢 I've never been able to stomach them, even pre-Vegan and I still find it a massive struggle if they are in a dish. I didn't enjoy the first bite, until I got to the Garlic I wasn't sure if I could continue. That helped, but again it was an odd garlic flavour, not the usual moorish flavour (I can happily eat chopped garlic from a pot on its own!). If you're a Shroomer you'd probably like them, I won't be buying again
