These ripe #plantains by Goya were a fun find at a nearby #spar supermarket! These were ready to eat, just heat and serve. The pieces are large, perfectly cooked and taste totally authentic. Only two ingredients used: 96.5% ripe plantains and 3.5% soybean oil. I chose the oven option using the paper tray they csme in and after the recommended time I still needed to pass them on the skillet for a few minutes to get the larger pieces heated through and through. My favorite meal ever is black beans and rice with plantains, so I made just that.
