Crumpet Toast

Want something that is similar to pancakes without the hassle? Heat up some crumpets for

30 seconds and throw a bunch of yummy stuff on top off it. I made some sweet cashew sauce with it, along with berries, maple syrup and soy vanilla ice cream! Very delicious 😋

This didn’t taste like what I’d expected it would, much more dense and not as

much of a spongey texture as a regular crumpet. More of a mix between toast and crumpet rather than toast shaped crumpets haha

Thick slices!! When toasted on the pan top, these look so golden and satisfying. With

a hue of brioche or other enriched breads, I keep expecting a bite of this bread to be sweet. This is not sweet. Think instead of a rectangular loaf of bread, but with the rubbery sponginess of a crumpet and the occasional encounter with a clump of unmixed flour. Verdict: crumpet toast is an interesting product. #crumpets #toast
