It's nice to have plant-based pie options, but honestly, the filling in these is rather watery, and salty rather than savoury and flavoursome. Sauce is your best friend if you want a nice and convenient meal out of these. #pie

Tastes better than the original IMHO. Not that I can remember what the original ones tasted like - it's been a long time. It's "meaty" and goes well with tomato sauce. At around $12 for for four, they're a great lazy air fryer meal with some chips and vegies.
I love these pies! So good to have an accessible vegan version of a good ol’ fashioned Aussie meat pie. The pastry is thick and crispy, and the filling is nice and saucy with meaty chunks of TVP. Not bad pricing too, grabbed them on special for 2 for $4.50.
Tasty affordable vegan pie. $1.75 for one. The filling’s texture is very well done and is more similar to beef pie texture than the Coles nature kitchen one. In my opinion too much pastry compared to the filling. However pasty and filling wise I give preference to the Coles nature kitchen mushroom and lentil pie. But tastes very good, would buy again. Heavily processed, 12.2 G protein. Australian made
This is so delicious and convenient. Can just pop them into the microwave for 3-4mins. 1 pie is pretty big too! Good for an afternoon snack. The pastry is still nice and flaky after heating up in the microwave!
