Provolone Slices Cheese

Oh, she’s stinky 💅 and delicious 🤤 @m1tch9i got this on #redmart because we live in them Modern Times™️ and can have groceries delivered to our house 🤴 Such a privilege! I don’t think I can fairly comment on the texture or the #cheese though because it was shipped frozen 🥶 and we know what that does to things 💆‍♀️ I appreciate that they weren’t individually separated with a thin piece of plastic in spite of it being a rather large block 🧀 You just need some knife-lever action guys, it’s so shrimple 🦐 Just don’t do it like me and you’ll be fine. That applies to most things in life actually 😮‍💨 If you’re looking for a #cheesethatmelts this is a good one! My housemates have all enjoyed it even in their non-vegan toasties 🍞 Baby steps until we’re all #veganproud I guess 💪 #omnivoreapproved #provolone

So freaking good! Has mild cheddar flavor/white cheese. Melts wonderfully 💞 & absolutely no excuse not to enjoy this flavor. Had this as a cheese tray, crackers, and vegetables on the side while at my gym date the other day! felt great 😃

My cautious foray into the world of vegan cheeses continues with Follow Your Heart. I don’t really know how provolone is supposed to be, but this cheese was creamy and mildly flavored. As I removed a slice from the packaging, I was struck by how much it looked, smelled, and felt like dairy. It does have a hint of that vegan cheese flavor and dryness, but only barely — it was surprisingly tolerable even out of the fridge, which is not something I can say about most products. It melted readily and tasted significantly better warmed; I used it in a delicious grilled cheese sandwich with apples and arugula. I’ve heard this brand can be expensive, but I’d get it again if it were reduced — I paid $1.99 for the package at Grocery Outlet.
