I don’t know why I expected it to resemble tuna, but the ingredients are only #peaprotein, salt and water.. And so it tastes like simply boiled #tvp mince 😃 Not sure if you should marinate or season it well to make it taste good, but eating it straight from the can was like eating cardboard 🙂 Costs 3,6€ which is not worth it considering the price of dry tvp Found at #rimi

High protein pea protein bits! 20g protein for one serving size can, and low in fat too. This comes with a pinch of salt in the can. Versatile and good protein 😁. #vegantuna #protein #veganfish
This tastes like nothing, bit oily, but has no flavour. It’s created to be that way tho; If you add spices, lemon, ketchup,… Then it’s good! But I wouldn’t recommend this. 14g of protein tho, so if you’re seeking that, this is an option! 3 ingredients: #peaprotein , water & salt. This review is saved for santuario vegan who take us through the ups and downs of sanctuary life with their regular updates, and whom now face a very big challenge. After the supermarket decided to drop their vegan tax from about $7 something to $3 something, I decided to give it a try. Not bad. I tried it without the expectations that it should taste exactly like fish so when it did taste somewhere between fish and minced chicken, I was not disappointed. A bit more salt and seaweed would probably make it fishier. I have realised there is one that has nori in it though I didn’t see that version in the supermarket.
