This is my top 1 favourite #beancurd product and #eggreplacement extraordinaire!! 😝 Personally, I think this is a feat of #vegan gastronomical engineering 🤩 The easiest (and most unhealthy) way to enjoy this would be to deep fry or air fry them into mouthwatering crisps 🤤 I like em with either just a lil’ salt, pepper, and maybe garlic powder if I’m feelin’ oomphy 😛 Although, its texture was made to shine in a boiled and steamed context!! 🙌 It’s been most miraculous in replicating that egg slurry for my Cantonese noodle dishes 😋 They’re also great to top any noodle dish when you need a quick and simple fix of #veganprotein 😙👌 Just throw on a few dashes of black salt and your golden!! You get like 13ish “folds” — is what they look like — for like $3-4!! 😍 Thus, this product has been cemented as my personal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ choice!!! 🤪🫶🤟 P.S. It’s also great for frying with noodles OR rice (yes, those are both manicai fried dishes)

This sad block of #soy skin is pretty good! Cooking instructions are either to fry it, stir fry it or put it in #soup. I had it for #hotpot, so I did the latter. It’s got a soft spongy texture and took less than a few seconds to cook. No overpowering soy flavour 😏
RM4.80 for 300g, 10 pieces. This is a pretty traditional chinese product I grew up eating in different forms, pretty much just fresh beancurd sheets folded on itself. I specifically bought this product #forthedollar, and because of the explicitly 'vegan' claim on the pack. I'm pre-frying a whole lot for the chinese cooking technique of crisping something up first before braising later, to give you a sort of spongy texture. Maybe chuck it all in a curry or something. But there are loads of way to cook it. Pretty cheap, high protein, and great texture. #buatanmalaysia #veganisnotscary
