First, let me just say how awesome it is that this brand is changing with
the times and coming out with more and more #vegan products and incorporating vegan oat milk and almond milk in their bars! This is a win! #ditchdairy
One of my favorite things as a kid was the white chocolate Nesley crunch bars (Hint hint they need this in #vegan white chocolate bar) this is very similar, except obviously dark chocolate of course. It's nice and airy with little crispy pieces mixed throughout the bar, giving it a nice crunch and texture. It's not too strong of a dark chocolate, either. My dad who is a huge #chocoholic really liked this. This was a super great price as well 2 for $5 at Fresh Thyme, so a great value for good quality.
Endangered Species Chocolate 🍫 is also a nice brand to support. They've also donated over $3 million to their partners. That's awesome. They state that their mission is to do good. Some of their partners include that African Wildlife Foundation, 🐘 Rainforest Trust,🦎 and Chimp Haven. 🐒 It would be so great if this company went completely vegan in the future. They seem to be on that path! They have so much compassion but can hopefully extend that to cows, as well.
A few other positives are that they do not use palm oil, they're non-gmo certified, and they source their cocoa from small family farms, and not from child labor or slave labor. ( chocolate is a brutal industry that is not kind to humans)
