I always see people drinking this here in Zurich and I was curious to try it. I find it fascinating that there are so many mate-based products here is Switzerland, it seems as it is widely appreciated by the population here even though we’re so far from South America. I got this can at Migros in the refrigerated section and it was 1.9 chf. I have to say the taste is very good, not too bitter and not too sweet. It’s slightly carbonated but not at the level of a Coca-Cola, which made it more pleasant to consume for me. I also appreciated that it’s clearly marked as #vegan Since I liked it now I’m looking forward to try other versions as well! #mate #vegandrinks #vegansoda #migros #organic
This Mate is my favorite drink! I love fizzy drinks, and with the caffeine it always gives me the kick I need. As it has some sugar in it, it's not as bitter as I thought in the beginning. I also really like the design of the packaging. The only negative I see is the price, at CHF 1.80 it's pretty expensive, as it is only a 33cl beverage.
