I really enjoy this chocolate bar. The almond butter is really firm but if you
let it sit in your mouth for a few seconds before chewing, it softens up and is super creamy and delicious.

mouth .. lol .. seriously it just blends the flavors perfectly.. give it a try …
to confess, I went a little crazy. #groceryoutletfinds In a #chocoholic frenzy, I bought a bunch, and in different flavors (they were only $1.29 apiece.) It’s kind of a problem that my cellular data doesn’t work inside the store, because once I got out to the parking lot, I learned that they aren’t FEP-recommended. At the time of posting, this brand is listed as “cannot recommend: working on issues.” It’s a bit cryptic, but I hope this means they’ve been communicative and are making an effort to ensure a socially responsible product sometime soon.
The #chocolate is really good. Sweet, salty, and roasty-nutty is, dare I say, an infallible combination. 70% cacao content is a bit on the low side for my liking, but some of my family members will start to gripe above 80%; this is a good compromise because it has some intensity without being outrightly bitter. The #almond butter is rich and dense, and the sea salt really enhances the whole experience. I gifted a bar to my co-worker, and I believe she really enjoyed it, as well. It’s also #organic.
I won’t repurchase for now (I’m flush with chocolate after the holidays, anyway!) but will continue to keep an eye on Dr. Bronner’s’s status. I hope they’ll eventually be redeemed into the recommended category, because their chocolate is indeed close to magic.
Would it taste like soap? Turns out.... no! It's quite good. All the flavors are vegan and there are several! Enjoy. 😋
