Strong astringence of eggplant - almost tastes like vinegar on the tongue. Still, it's enjoyable on bread/toast/pita.
My first time trying an eggplant dip…texture and flavour are nice but think I will stick to good ole hummus.
I love Dari's Table hummus products, so maybe it's just me and that I prefer the taste of chickpeas to eggplant, but this was not a favorite. I will go back to buying their hummus range instead because they are really good.
