This is one of the most delectable pastas Daiya has ever created. It’s particularly delightful to combine the powdered flavoring with plant milk, hot sauce, and vegetables to enhance the taste and subtly incorporate some vegetables. That’s my preferred pasta preparation these days. Everyone should definitely try this and consider adding blended spinach or Chinese broccoli to it. It would be especially beneficial for sneaking vegetables into your kids’ diets.

I can’t remember if the price was 3 for $5 or 3 for $10. In my pre-vegan days, I didn’t eat much mac & cheese. But now that I’m vegan, I was quite interested in trying this vegan equivalent, despite the outrageous sodium content. I was quite impressed with the amount of sauce that was in the foil package. See the second last photo. Every noodle was very well covered in sauce after I mixed it in. But the sodium content was just too much. The sauce was so / too salty for me. I was actually turned off by the salty taste. Now I’m reluctant to cook and eat the other two boxes. On the plus side, there is a lot of calcium and protein. If the company would reduce the amount of sodium and fat in this product, I would buy it again. Until then I would be extremely reluctant.
