Great feta cheese replacement & It has an amazing ingredient list. I love that it is a plant based option for a cheese without a lot of synthetic ingredients. I have heard a lot of great reviews for this cheese brand and I’m excited to try more of their products.
I appreciated the attempt to make vegan feta cheese. Although it wasn’t offensive in any way, I didn’t love it. Somewhat like feta but overall wouldn’t purchase.
It melts really nicely! I made garlic break and it was the only cheese I had in the house, so I shredded it, and it worked beautifully! I’ve also tried it in a salad and it was pretty good - though I prefer the VioLife Feta for this application. I got it at NoFrills for $6.99.
◻️I haven’t tried many vegan feta cheeses yet but I’ve always been a fan of Daiya cheeses & products so I can’t go wrong with this one! It’s a decent size so I get a few meals out of it, I typically use it cubed in salads (it doesn’t crumble very well & is best when cubed imo). The taste isn’t very strong, it’s a light feta flavour with a smooth texture.
