I bought this culina coconut yogurt to make vegan tzatziki sauce. It is has some tartness and is smooth and creamy. It is pretty thick too. It doesn’t have much protein though, only a 1g. I bought it at my local Whole Foods. #veganyogurt #ditchdairy #culina

Man was this yogurt THICK! Lol. I love how this #yogurt has minimal ingredients, no cane sugar and no added “nasties.” I love eating yogurt topped with #granola, #fruit, shredded #coconutflakes and #sunflowerseeds. The closest thing to Greek yogurt that I’ve tried, at least as far as #coconut is concerned — it was that level of thickness. It wasn’t quite smooth and needed a quick stir to eliminate the lumps. The rich, creamy, and slightly tart fermented flavor was amazing, although I’m hesitant to purchase these Culina yogurts as anything more than a very occasional treat since they contain a frightening amount of saturated fat. This brand also runs rather expensive, so it’s generally out of budget unless I’m lucky enough to score a deal (this cup was $0.99 at Grocery Outlet!) I ate a couple of spoonfuls plain and then blended the rest into a piña-colada-inspired smoothie with frozen pineapple, a little bit of banana, and a scoop of protein powder (final image.) I imagine that this #yogurt could also be a good addition to savory dishes — perhaps in a tangy marinade? As always, I’m glad for the opportunity to sample more yogurt, but this one — while tasty — certainly can’t replace my everyday favorites.
First time trying this #culina #greekyogurt . This plain one tastes very.... yogurty! It has no weird texture or extra flavours like vegan yogurt can have.
