This was my first time preparing croissants at home with this kind of ready-to-bake dough. I was so curious when I found it at Lidl and saw it was marked vegan that I just had to buy it. It was the first time for me opening this kind of can and of course I did it wrong (by opening the top with a can opener), only later I realized I only needed to remove the cardboard part and gently make it pop out. Anyways, I think I also needed some more guidance when putting down the dough in a croissant shape, my croissant turned out very long and thin or as I called them “skinny legend croissants”. I thought after baking they would become bigger but they turned out pretty much the same size as I laid them down. The taste was very good though! Of course they’re not like patisserie croissants with the flaky consistency but they were still very enjoyable. I will probably buy them again.
