These remind me of Terra chips. Crunchy and hearty root chips. Nice to try something new. As far as nutrition factors go they aren’t much different than potato chips, so not really a better choice just a different one for crunchy & salty snacks. This bag was about halfway filled, 5 oz, for $1.99 at Trader Joe’s. However considering many snack sized chip bags are selling for $1-2 I think it is a reasonable price for something different. I am a sucker for cassava chips! I actually prefer them over plantain chips. They are thin and crispy! Sometimes if there isn’t a chili flavored option I’ll squeeze lime and drizzle hot sauce on top!! High in fat and sodium not too bad.
