This thick protein drink is a nice morning treat but I can't see getting this on a regular occasion. It is too pricey for what is being consumed. #veganprotein

I usually don’t buy protein shakes so I really can’t compare this to much else, but I like it. I’m guzzling it down. As someone in their 60’s, muscles ain’t no joke. They vanish in the blink of an eye, ergo, I need to start seeking more protein, so here I am. This drink is in a plastic bottle which I’m not digging, however, it’s low-ish in sugar, and is comprised of almonds, chicory, chickpea, monk fruit, and cocoa (gimme) among other things. It cost about $4 at Whole Foods, so I better be able to do a chin up after this.
Quite tasty but the cacao flavor tasted a bit off, similar to protein powder. Usually this product costs $4+ dollars. I got it on sale for half off.
I loved it. Just wish it was more affordable. Best vegan protein shake I’ve had.
Delicious beverage when you need a handy snack. Especially good as pre-workout snack. #uplandspeak
