I enjoy this in my smoothies and juices. Great source of iron, calcium and potassium,
and adds some sweetness without having to add extra sugar for a sweet drink.
FYI, the monkey in the background of this photo is from my calendar. He's in India and was rejected from his monkey clan. He ran away, moved to a Tamarind tree near a hotel, and was amused at his reflection in a window and smashed it to pieces. An animal rescue group (Animal Rahat) came to humanely trap him. After finding him healthy and unharmed, they released him in a lush jungle with plenty of food and water.
