Very very disappointed in the product. I’m a huge fan of Quorn, and was expecting the usual high quality from this. Also, the fact that this costed $7 and has only two pieces in each box, I was expecting even more from it. I have been eying this for a Long time but felt like it was too pricey. Finally there was a sale for 2 at the price of $12 and bought it. I actually cooked this for my whole family(non-vegans & vegetarians), and they were disliked it too, was sad tho because I want to let them know that mock meat can taste the same, or even better than the real one.First thing wrong with this was the texture. When I cut it open, I could immediately tell this was going to be a problem. It doesn’t even have the texture of filet, as you can see from the photo. It has a texture of a “chicken” rather than “fish”. Same goes for the taste, it taste like an off brand version of their burgers. Secondly it’s so freaking dry. I literally choked on it and had to quickly drink a cup of water. I cooked it the way they told me to, which was in the oven. But I think this cannot be cooked on its own, you should put some oil to pan fry it to prevent it from being so dry. Overall, I ain’t gonna buy this anymore. Not worth the price at all. You would be better off buying their hot and spicy burger.
