Loved Brave Robot’s PB n’ Fudge flavor. Perfect substitute. It’s creamy, flavorful, and best of

all they use “animal-free” dairy, which is both sustainable and tastes like the real thing. I got it at Sprouts for 4.99 for a 14 oz, which is usually the price any other ice cream that’s 16 oz. But it’s worth the price and will be buying again!

So creamy and more peanut buttery than fudgy, but still perfect!!!

I was originally weirded out with this brand but I took advantage of the great

sale Kroger's was having so I decided to try this flavor.

The texture and base are spot on close to traditional ice cream👌🏼

This flavor itself is delicious however, I wish it had more peanut butter.

It's technically a "vanilla" ice cream with peanut butter swirls so I can't complain about the amount of peanut butter in it but I just like a lot of peanut butter 😆🥜

I couldn't really taste the fudge ripples but I probably didn't notice it. Maybe they're referring to peanut butter fudge. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Overall, this ice cream and flavor are delicious and definitely recommend if you like a vanilla and peanut butter blend 😋🍦🥜

I had NO idea that an innocent ice cream purchase could have me questioning everything!

When I saw this in the super market freezer I thought “Oooh! A new brand of ice cream with a great name!” The product was clearly marked Vegan so in the basket it went! I was enjoying a mouthful as the company website was pulling up and BAM! I realized that I was eating Franken-Ice Cream! So, the product is considered Vegan but also contains milk proteins? I felt confused so I kept reading. This ice cream uses ‘Perfect Day’ non-animal whey protein which is produced by microflora that have been introduced to a cow’s genetic blueprint for making whey & casein. Serious Science not Coconut Cream! Their website states that the actual cow genes are possible to obtain non invasively (hairs or cheek swab) but that they obtained it from a free scientific database. I realize that this is controversial and I have seriously mixed feelings about this product. If this helps in any way to eventually abolish factory farming and is a better option for the environment I can see the value. I can see getting my non-vegan family & friends onboard with this-the taste & texture are spot on to dairy ice cream. The peanut butter & fudge are delicious but the vanilla base is so spot on to dairy that it creeps me out a little. (I have never liked milk so that’s just me.) Brave Robot states that it is Cruelty Free but Perfect Day has had to test on animals in order to be deemed ‘safe for human consumption.’ It’s just so new. (Much more in their FAQ’s about this-I really appreciate their transparency.) Personally, I was left feeling really guilty because of the testing issue-it was a good lesson in ‘do the homework BEFORE putting the spoon in my mouth!’ Sorry for the lengthy rant-I wanted to post this so that the info is out there-I didn’t know what I was getting myself into! Definitely ‘food for thought!’ #abillionlove #ditchdairy (?!?)
