I reviewed this cupcake a good while back, bought from a different branch of this
bakery.
As so much time has passed I thought it was worth reviewing again because it’s still the only vegan cake option available 😕
It would be great if they added just one more dairy free item to their selection. How about a scone? Or a carrot cake? Both work excellently without eggs or milk.
The good thing is, the staff are really nice in this branch too. The woman who served me said she has requested more vegan food to be added, so time and perseverance will tell.
The cupcake looks good, crowned with a raspberry on a thick layer of chocolate ‘buttercream’. The sponge is light but a good strong hit of chocolate.
You can sit in. I bought to takeaway. It’s very conveniently located by Finsbury Park tube station. Very tempting to pop in!
