I stashed these #lazyvegan patties in the office freezer for those days when I forget
my lunch at home or end up working overtime. They obviously aren’t the healthiest, but it’s nice to have a convenient and dependably vegan backup plan. These have a good amount of protein for their size and keep me full for hours; they’re also very affordable. The lightly peppery breading crisped up well in the air fryer, and although the center was a bit softer than I prefer, it was still pretty good — enough like chicken, yet not too much so, if that makes sense. While they do come in plastic sleeves, they’re at least packaged in pairs; it works for me because I’d likely eat two in one sitting anyway (they’re on the thin side.) All things considered, a decent sandwich starter or salad companion! Just be aware that, though they’re labeled as soy patties, they are not gluten-free.
