🇺🇸 trip... I brought this home to SA with me. It's an excellent #glutenfree pancake mix. The pancakes turn out great!! I like to add banana to my pancake mix and I often throw in a sprinkling of cocoa powder. #woolworths coconut cream is the best coconut cream to compliment pancakes and waffles 🧇 I also brought maple syrup from the USA to smother these pancakes in. And lastly, I add a serving of macadamia nut butter. First homemade GF pancake experience! I followed the directions but used a baking powder egg instead of a real egg (combine 1 tsp baking powder, 1.5 tbsp oil, 1.5 tbsp water to replace 1 egg). The batter was thick and the pancakes turned out thin but soft. If you overcook them they get crispy. They weren’t dry and the texture was good but ever so slightly gritty, and you can kind of taste the rice flour. A decent amount of effort went into the mix so you might as well make pancakes from scratch, which I’m going to try next time using a different kind of flour! #pancakes #veganpancakes #glutenfree
I used almond milk, and didn’t use eggs for this one- just chia and flax seeds. (That’s probably why its so pale in colour..) It was slightly dense but still pretty amazing! Also tried to make a Korean pancake and that worked out great!!!
