I’ve tried their regular #vegansausage before and i love it. This is a slightly different one with #avocadooil . The cooking instructions listed was rather specific I baked it in d oven. Have to cook slightly longer Taste is good. They hv the red juices oozing out,whc im giessing is frm #beetroot ? To replicate the so called blood perhaps? My omnivore friend like it since it’s her first time trying vegan meat. Minus point is this is always sooo pricey in this region cos it’s an imported product Had breakfast with the rosti type pancake from Ikea.

Although I’ve had them before, these sausages are the newest version - made with avocado oil. I forget what the avocado oil is a substitution for, but it’s part of the company’s attempt to make these sausages more healthy / less unhealthy. Apparently, there’s less saturated fat. There was no difference in taste, at least not to me. The sausages are absolutely delicious, and if they were healthier, I would eat them more often. Each sausage has 13 g of fat; presumably this is a reduction from the previous version of these sausages as result of the use of avocado oil. There’s still a lot of sodium (each sausage provides 21% of your recommended daily sodium intake). They’re also extremely high in protein and iron. I haven’t seen the sausages here in Toronto. I hope they’re available or they will soon become available. I would definitely get them because of their healthier profile (or less unhealthy profile). I don’t know how much they cost.
