Basil Pesto Vegan

Smells and tastes quite similar to non-vegan pesto. Has pine nuts. Cheese replacement is tofu (soy, protein rich as cheese).

Esta fue mi cena de la Nochebuena. Me encanta pesto y quería probarlo con gnocchi. Tiene un logo de la sociedad vegana, y dice “vegan”. Tristemente es súper caro, es importado de Reino Unido sin embargo me encantó el sabor. First time seeing Vegan basil pesto by Filippo Berio at Wegmans Monthomerry Northwales,PA. I have been waiting for it a long time. It tastes like pure basil pesto. Hurry up new item limited sales.

This looked promising! It was affordable and the brand is well-known. I thought the glass packaging was cute and loved how it said no compromise on flavour. When I actually tried it though, I found it slightly bland. I needed the entire jar to flavour my pasta dish. Not at all unpleasant, just a bit subtle. #pesto #basil 🌿
