Sorbet like texture, pistachio-ameretto flavor. There are instructions to microwave it for 30s for a creamier texture, and I haven’t done that just because it felt counterintuitive to microwave ice cream? Will circle back on the taste after microwaving.

I found this ice cream on sale and decided to give it a try as I haven’t had a pistachio ice cream in quite some time. The container advises you to let the ice cream sit out or to microwave it to loosen it up. It was more of a sherbet texture straight out of the freezer but did get softer with some time sitting out. I did like the flavor but was a bit surprised as it was actually a pistachio + amaretto flavor - and it stated that only on the back of the container rather than the front. I do like almond/amaretto flavor but was a bit disappointed because I was expecting it to just be pistachio. It was definitely not a bad treat. Super light. due to taste, i'll categorize this as a #SherbetSaturday review. 2/3 cup has 2 grams protein, 3 grams fiber (partly from sugarcane fiber), zero total fat, 8 grams added sugar. #SorbetSaturday
160 cals for the whole thing and creamy to eat all the way non stop in the ☀️ sunshine. ⛅️ 🌞 tasty but subtle and more artificial tasting compared to nada moo. Worth it and would/will probably buy it again.
