This product is uncannily sausage-like. I find that it is an excellent ingredient for a

vegan breakfast burrito. Or to just have with pancakes or waffles and Just Egg. Omnivores transitioning to a plant based diet will not miss the animal product sausage. It truly is that good.

So I used this a few weeks ago for a Picodillo recipe, I diced it

up and got a nice crisp to it. They didn’t have a sausage crumble and prefer the added flavor to the sausage as opposed to a burger substitute.

For the Picodillo just render a can of fire roasted tomatoes, diced onions and bell peppers. Once it cools down, add garlic, olives, capers, salt, pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika. Then add the diced sausage and serve over basmati rice (better aroma).

These are good breakfast sausage. I used them to make breakfast sandwiches with tofu scramble

and veggies. So good and so satisfying!

I am constantly hunting for the best plant-based sausage replacement…. this might not be it,

but they’re still pretty good! decent price for 4 patties at my local Sprouts, but the texture is not my favorite once they’re cooked 🤪
