This is absolutely amazing - lovely texture, taste & honestly looks great. I had one of the fillets with homemade chips & then I cooked the other one and had it in a ciabatta sandwhich. I loved this, but such a shame that Aldi has, as per, stopped selling it. Probably another of their seasonal items so I’m hopeful we will see it again in the future!

The flavour was there but the texture was a bit off, it wasn’t bad but not as good as I would expect after I paid £7. It was more chewy than succulent. It went cold really quickly too, maybe needed longer in the oven than instructed. Also, look how different the size of the cuts is!😂
If you like your meat alternatives, then this is the one for you! Apparently this is made by Redefining Meat but is a couple of pounds cheaper. (Still on the high side at £6.99). Very good texture and tastes good with a bit of salt and pepper. It is frozen 🥶 and you do have to defrost before you cook so make sure to put in the fridge in the morning.
