MSG - probably the most controversially discussed seasoning 🧂 I love using it for most of my dishes to add an incredible umami taste 👅 Only use for savory dishes and start slow! This is strong ha. It enhances the pleasant umami taste found already in many foods. It’s not harmful despite what some people might tell you lol. MSG is even found naturally in things like tomatoes 🍅, cheese 🧀 or mushrooms 🍄 #abillionturns3
Some people avoid MSG, while others use it. I recently started using it because a YouTube I follow uses it often in their cooking. It truly gives a lot of the food you make, an umami flavour. A little goes a long way.
