Ever since I learned that some Thai brands of coconut exploit monkeys for harvest, I'm careful which coconut milk brand I buy. A Taste of Thai costs just a little more than some of the others, but it so worth it. Not only are they cruelty-free, but I find that the quality is even much better. It's much thicker and creamier than the other brands I used to buy. #veganisnotscary

My favourite coconut milk on the SA market - it tastes amazing and is non GMO, is unsweetened, comes from the first pressing and has no preservatives or colorants or bleaching agents. It sells out of the shops quickly, so if you see it, stock up 😊
