It was $3.99 (contains 3 bars). This price is a steal considering I’ve seen them for about $6 at Metro. I was reluctant to buy these because of the flavour. I’m not a big fan of sodium, salt and sea salt. Fortunately, the taste of the sea salt is not strong. The sea salt – caramel combination is so good. and the chocolate coating is crunchy. There is no weird aftertaste, so I really can’t see non-vegans complaining about this plant-based / vegan treat. These frozen bars are definitely not healthy, as they do contain a lot of calories, fat and sugar. But they’re ohhh so delicious! I would definitely get these again, but not often because of their nutritional content…..unless the price was right!

I got this and some other things that I’ll rate later from Grocery Outlet so it was fun getting vegan food that was under $6 per item. They have quite a lot now that I think about it… This was $2.49 for 3 that I “split” with my father (he got one, I ate the other two). He said it was ok, I liked it, though. Then again, as long as it doesn’t have some weird aftertaste or a texture I don’t like, it’s great in my books. I’m still considered a picky eater though.
