I’ve never had crab before, so this was an new experience for me. They come

frozen and you can fry them in a skillet for a few minutes on each side. I found them to be juicy while also having a chewiness to it. There are stringy shreds of something, possibly seaweed I guess. Flavor wise, you definitely taste the sea. I really enjoyed them!

Nutritionally, each 2.3 ounce (65g) cake provides 120 calories from 6g of fat, 23g of carbohydrates and 3g of protein. I only wish it would be more complete with extra protein in it.

Picked this up in August-September for $5.48 at Walmart, but haven’t seen it there since. 😢 I was also able to find it for $6.99 at Mom’s Organic Market.

Taste and flavor are on point. They taste like restaurant made. I eat them on

top of chaos (field roast) vegan Mac and cheese and it’s amazing!

I love having these in my freezer for a quick, elegant appetizer for drinks or

tea with friends. You can serve it with vegan aioli over a bed of lettuce or with cocktail sauce. Easy prep, tastes yummy!

If you can get past the taste you might like it. It’s not bad but

there’s definitely an overpowering taste of something (some spice or seasoning) that I felt it could definitely do without.
Great texture - the outside turns crispy after pan frying and you get little shreds of “crab” meat inside. Vegan mayo or tartar sauce will complement this really well
