Super tasty ch*cken style patties with a Southern flair. The patties are a healthy size, at 135g each, larger than most. The #breading is the thickest and crunchiest I have ever eaten, and has a healthy dose of #blackpepper to give it that southern US flavor. The ingredients list is extensive but not too processed, and the nutrition is commendable. The instructions said to bake the patties, I prepared them on the skillet with a little olive oil, flipping them over every few minutes. I would recommend giving these a try for something different! I did really enjoy these the only thing I would say is the batter went a bit soggy but I think that might’ve been because we cooked them with oil? The texture was quite soft too which some people may not like but the flavour was good!
I found them a little "crumbly" but they tasted ok, not completely my taste. Good value for money and non-plastic package, which are plus points.
Not bad, and also quite cheap compared to other vegan chicken fillet I've tried.
