When he recently traveled to Italy with his family, our founder and CEO, @vikas, visited our impact partner @rifugiomiletta, and we are incredibly proud of the work they do. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for more than 250 animals, regardless of their species. Donkeys, horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats, birds, and other animals live together freely and peacefully, receiving the care they deserve.

We’ve donated a total of US $593.8k to Rifugio miletta, including through our 2024 Impact Program. Your support has allowed them to expand its wildlife rehabilitation facility, saving over 1,700 wildlife animals and installing vital fencing to protect the animals and surrounding areas.

Though the sanctuary remains closed to visitors due to the risk of African Swine fever, their mission continues. They also operate as a Wild Animal Recovery Center, responding to wildlife emergencies around the clock in the province of Novara.
