Hey everyone. Thought I’d share something I normally don’t do… a business update! I normally share these kinds of things on LinkedIn but I feel it’s also important for our community to know and understand the impact of what we are building, and how it’s making businesses more vegan and impacting abillion as a business.

It’s amazing that we’ve brought on a record 127 consumer products companies and restaurant brands from around the world in the last 60 days! All without an investment in a big sales team or marketing dollars to reach them. The businesses find us and sign up because everyday their customers are searching on Google and land on our pages because we have authentic, reviews of their products and businesses.

And because we start with consumer advocacy and activism, reaching out to these businesses with reviews about their products and reviews about their competitors, to create competition for who has the best vegan options, the most sustainable products, and to show them that it pays to have more and better quality plant-based options on their menus and across their product lines.

Through consumer activism, we’re improving what’s on the table for all people around the world and we’re building a business that’s attracting brands around the world to join our platform and do the right thing by making better and more vegan products.

This brings the total number of our brand customers to 4,827! Thank you for participating in this theory of change.

The better we become at doing this, the more we can do to help animals and save the planet. It takes all of us to participate actively to make this dream and vision of abillion possible. And so, I thank you for being here. ❤️✊

vikas Think of other platforms that have helped consumers get better results with businesses, and how they have become benchmarks in their respective industries. One example is TripAdvisor, which started with giving people a voice through reviews and ended up becoming the benchmark for hospitality. Now every hotel in the world works hard to keep their rating on TripAdvisor high. We can do the same thing by giving people a voice around the vegan movement and the broader sustainability movement. You will see us doing more around rankings as we move in this direction. Adding sustainability factors into reviews was one step in this direction. 2 likesReply
