Il 12 maggio ho fatto questi due tatuaggi nell’ambito del progetto In the blink of an eye, di Alfredo Meschi, artivista, e Massimo Giovannini, fotografo.

Da anni portano in giro il progetto per sensibilizzare sempre più persone sull’importanza e necessità di un cambio radicale dell’attuale sistema alimentare, basato sulla sofferenza e privazione della libertà di tutti gli animali non umani.

Ho voluto partecipare anche io e imprimere sulla mia pelle la X simbolo del progetto, un segno neutro che rappresenta i 40000 animali non umani, anime senza voce, che vengono uccisi ogni secondo, secondo le stime della FAO, per diventare il nostro cibo.

Last 12 May I did these two tattoos as part of the In the blink of an eye project, by Alfredo Meschi, artivist, and Massimo Giovannini, photographer.

For years they have been carrying the project around to raise awareness of more and more people on the importance and need for a radical change in the current food system, based on the suffering and deprivation of freedom of all non-human animals.

I wanted to participate too and imprint on my skin the X symbol of the project, a neutral sign representing the 40,000 non-human animals, voiceless souls, which are killed every second, according to FAO estimates, to become our food.
