Before I tried this drink, my idea of coconut milk is the thick, creamy milk to be used in cooking such as curry. This drink had changed my perception of it because it was in between both coconut water and the coconut milk I had expected to taste. It was flavourful, and in a way, a feel-good drink because it advertised plant-based calcium and dairy-free qualities. Personally, the drink was at just the right amount of sweetness for me and I think I might enjoy this even more than the coconut water I usually purchase from UFC.

UFC Velvet Coconut Milk is extracted from 100% Thai coconuts and it is an excellent addition to one’s healthy diet. It is added with “Aquamin”, a marine plant-based calcium derived from the red algae Lithothamnion found in the pristine waters off the coast of Iceland.

It is suitable for vegans and those who are lactose intolerant. Enjoy the pleasant flavour and creaminess of UFC Velvet Coconut Milk on its own or add to your smoothies, milkshakes or baked goods.

It was a hard choice between purchasing almond or oat milk when I first found this brand because I had tried neither. After tasting both the almond and oat milk of the brand, I prefer the almond milk much more. However, the oat milk had its own appeal and I could see the reason for its popularity. Personally, I think that the oat milk had a more refreshing and healthier taste which was great because I could convince myself that I was shifting to a healthier diet. Conversely, that was also the reason why I preferred the almond milk to this product. The healthy taste of the drink made me dislike it slightly because I am not suited for such strong flavours of healthiness in my milk. Perhaps I may offer it to my father who is a Vegan and enjoys such options more than I do.

UFC’s Velvet Almond Milk is one of the first, but fast favourites of mine. If you were to be looking for almond milk, I would suggest this brand as it is available even at the smaller FairPrice I had been to. This accessibility makes the product even easier to sample. Besides that, I was amazed that the product had advertised being from ‘100% whole almonds’ because the milk was so smooth I could not believe that it came from a nut I otherwise thought would not even be able to produce any form of drink. This brand is one of my favourites now because of its smooth blend of almond milk and I buy it whenever I run out.

UFC Velvet Almond Milk is a heart-healthy, low-calorie and nutritious beverage made from quality Australian whole almonds. This version of soy milk from NurtiSoy is one of my all-time favourites. It was one of the first soy milk drinks that I had purchased and it became an immediate favourite. It is my favourite flavour because it is smooth and unique from other brands of soy milk that I have tried. The taste of the drink is well balanced too; it is not too sweet or tasteless and that is what makes it my one of my favourite soy milk drinks.

I do not usually cook with brown rice or brown noodles. However, this product caught my eye because it was brown rice noodles, which I thought would be interesting to try out. To me, the noodles were a little too thin as I had expected something with chunkier and thicker noodles much like udon. The taste was satisfying because I felt that I was maintaining a healthy diet. Though I do not know many brown noodle brands yet, I hope this is my first step in the direction to begin sampling more brands of brown rice or noodles.

NutriSoy High Calcium with Almond was one of the first versions of milk containing almond, that I had tried. It was such a great experience that I decided to explore other brands of almond milk. As a soy milk fan, I decided to step slightly outside of my comfort zone by tasting this brand of soy milk with almond and it did not disappoint. Overall, I’m satisfied with the soy milk and would likely purchase it again.

As a big fan of Soy Milk drinks, I had decided to stray away from my usual options of VitaSoy and NurtiSoy to taste FairPrice’s own version of Soy Milk. The taste was within my expectations, however it did not beat my other favoured brands. I would recommend this product to people who might still be looking for their preferred soy milk brands as I think that this product is good enough to be someone else’s favourite brand. Despite FairPrice’s soy milk not being in my list of favourite soy milk brands, I am satisfied to see that large organisations such as FairPrice had promoted alternatives to milk, in this case, as soy milk.

NutriSoy’s Soy Milk with Purple Rice was promoted as a limited edition flavour so I decided to try it. Although the milk did not fit my tastes, I still viewed it as a worthwhile experience as I have never heard of, nor tried, a drink with purple rice. This drink did not make it into my list of favourites because I did not enjoy the taste of the rice in the milk as I normally would have in their other soy milk options. However, it was still a new experience and I do not regret trying this product.
