Good way to try an assortment of their vegan dim sum! 🥟🍢 It was actually kinda hilarious because my partner proclaimed the first item he tried "the MVP", then tried the next item and excitedly declared that was "the true MMVP", and so it went on for all 4 items. 😂 Featuring crunchy Deep-Fried Vegetable Spring Roll stuffed with sweet jicama and cabbage, Sichuan Steamed Plant-Based Meat Dumpling with red chilli oil and aged black vinegar, Steamed Mushroom and Corn Dumpling in an adorable little basket, as well as their bestselling Pan-Fried #Impossible Gyoza. 🍄‍🟫🌽 ($9.80 for 4 pieces) #sgvegan #veganoptions #chinesefood #dimsum

Super crispy gyozas filled with #Impossible 'beef' and water chestnuts. 🥟🌰 This ever received the @abillion award for Singapore's top 50 vegan dishes, and for good reason! 🏆 It was my partner's favourite item from the dim sum platter, and he excitedly asked if we could order more of this a la carte. Vegan xiaolongbao is hard to come by, so I was delighted that #Impossible 'pork' was available as an alternative to minced pork! New main~ Chunks of lion's mane mushrooms coated in a crispy batter with a firm meaty mouthfeel inside. 🍄‍🟫 The spice seasoning was mindblowingly aromatic too, and with the Sichuan peppercorns and dried chilli, this resembled mala chicken 辣子鸡. 🌶️ There were long beans to balance things out too. New main~ Crunchy battered cauliflower, roasted cashew nuts, and shredded carrot drizzled in kung pao sauce. 🥕🌶️ I liked that the cauliflower was still soft and juicy inside, and without any unpleasant sulfuric taste or smell! Also appreciated the use of whole foods; I believe they used Tindle 'chicken' in the past. Would have been good to have a tad more kung pao sauce for the whole dish though! Warm and moist cake with chewy bits of longan within for an Asian twist, making this a great East meets West fusion rendition of the classic dessert! Drizzled in sticky gula melaka butterscotch sauce, and served with vegan vanilla swirl ice-cream. 🍮🍨 Lovely to have a bite of both the pudding and ice-cream together. An unconventional rendition of the traditional #dessert #buburchacha. It is an #accidentallyvegan dessert that can be found in many countries in Southeast Asia. They added #banana and #pomegranate. While slightly unusual, they add to the texture. The best part were the chewy sweet potato / yam pieces. The coconut ice cream seems to be the same as the one from other dessert.

Beautiful presentation for this #dessert. The coconut taste in the #matcha #cake was very strong and unfortunately seemed stale. Overall wasn’t too bad as I’m a #matchalover. I did enjoy the coconut ice cream which was refreshing. The salted #almonds were a nice touch for some texture.

Classic #eggplant #chinesefood, remember to request for #impossiblemeat version for it to be vegan. Fragrant dish that goes well with rice. One of the best dishes from Empress I had that day. This is the first time I tried impossible meat. The texture is very interesting and it has a slight soy taste. The eggplants were the stars in this saucy dish. The stonepot is great as it keeps the dish very warm.
