Kimchi stew featuring their housemade cabbage kimchi, which I found quite tangy and appetising! The bubbling hot stew also came with assorted natural ingredients such as soft tofu, enoki mushrooms, radish chunks, kelp, and my favourite springy glass noodles~ 🍲🌶️🍄 Tasty and healthy. Served with wholegrain rice. 🍚 (Allium-free, $13) #sgvegan #koreanfood #sgkoreanfood #alliumfree #wholefoodplantbased #wfpb #socialenterprise #womenowned
My favourite kimchi so far! It’s not that spicy as much as the images show how red it is
I’ve never actually enjoyed Kimchi Jjigae until I had this one 😂 The ones I had in Penang always had clam and that ruined it for me! It’s so meaty too with so much in there! It came with a couple sides but I wasn’t sure if the mashed potatoes were vegan so I didn’t have any 😅 Really rich, not too sour, and just the right balance of salt! Perfect iftar meal for my friend who said he could use the sodium 😂 Vegan #Korean food is where it’s at! 🇰🇷
The spicy soup is quite spicy and generally nice!!! Can accept the spice. The soup comes with a big bunch of a certain type of mushroom , very very soft. I ordered extra seaweed onto the rice to give it a nicer flavour !!! Very good. Rice is soft and easy to chew. Overall it tastes good if you like this kind of spicy food. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This looks exactly the same as the soondubu one,but it's d kimchi soup. Not as spicy of course but a much more balanced taste. A bit of sourish frm the kimchi, more full bodied kind of flavour. I much prefer this one if comparing to the soondubu one. And i much prefer their other outlet at Fusionopolis one,in terms of service and overall feels. This has a family run sort of small feels, which i like, but they are damn panicky in terms of service even tho it was a chilled Sunday nite wen i was there. And on that note- i completed the 90 reviews challenge!! yeayyyyyy (geeky clap) 90/90 #veganisnotscary
