This toon rendang rice with egg really delivers on comfort. The rendang is bold and aromatic, with a slow-cooked feel that makes it extra satisfying. I liked the touch of toon leaves, which added a gentle earthy twist. The rice is soft and slightly sticky, just right for soaking up the sauce. The vegan egg is a nice addition too, and the fresh veggies on the side keep the plate from feeling too heavy. Simple, tasty, and well balanced.
Mainly bought this dish because I wanted to try the PlantEgg, but wasn't in the mood for a burger! Got to say, the #rendang rice overpowered the #veganegg and I couldn't really taste it until I tried a bit of it on its own. That said, this was a delicious meal. Also pictured - their battered mushrooms, which I forgot to get a pic of on their own! #vegansingapore
Slightly spicy rendang which goes well with the bland rice. One of the highlight features is definitely the plant egg which looks and tastes like a real one 😯

I’ve tried the dish without the plantegg before. the plantegg was good, the ‘yolk’ was quite dense. I enjoyed it, the additional cost for the egg was worth it
